The seat

Nightstand or table

Such a surface helps you become more organized, and you will have a place to put your hot chocolate or your book when you’re not reading. Another good idea might be to add a pen and a notepad, because some of the books could inspire you, and it is a pity to let that inspiration go to waste.

Add some light

You don’t have to be thinking about something complicated. Usually it is enough to have a simple lamp in case it is adjustable. In the same time you could also have a desk lamp. You don’t need something bright, but if the light is too dim it is difficult to see the letters, not to mention that you can damage your eyes.

In case you are reading during the daytime, make sure to use natural light. All you have to do is to draw the curtains and let the sunshine in the room. This is better for the eyes and your pocket as well.

Make it comfortable

When you create a reading nook, you should ensure that it is a comfortable place, that seems welcoming and that gives you an incentive to curl up time after time and read.

Gather all the things that you like around you, like soft cushions or blankets. Use colors that are warm and use textures that are welcoming. Avoid using elements that make you feel stressed or uncomfortable in any way.

Divide

In order to make sure that you will spend some quality time in your reading corner, you should divide it from the rest of the room. For this you could use a smaller dresser or something more complicated, such as curtains. This way you will feel separated from the rest of the world, and you will have privacy without others bothering you while you are reading.

How to build a carport

Many people have large open spaces to park their cars. But why not parking them indoors, especially in winter? Follow the instructions in this guide to build a fast and secure carport without spending too much.
What you need
First of all make holes in the ground at the 4 vertices of the perforated metal sheet in which to insert the 4 bearing piles. These must be correctly chosen (2 longer and 2 shorter in order to create a slope) with a diameter of about 12 cm. Place them perfectly perpendicular to the ground and fix them permanently with cement.
Connect at the top the two longer piles through a trasversal piece of wood (size 10×10 cm) and repeat the operation with the smaller ones. Fix the wood pieces to the piles with screws 10mm in diameter. Then take other wooden boards, place them perpendicular to the previous ones (to form a cross) and fix them with screws.
Now there’s nothing left to do but fixing the pre-painted metal sheets to the newly formed structure. To do that, always use large screws. Metal plates must also be positioned to protrude a few tens of centimeters away. This allows you to tuck up from bad weather

How to build a do-it yourself underground irrigation system

The benefits of an underground irrigation system are indisputable.
A streamlined and consistent underground irrigation will make our garden more beautiful and vital and will help us in those moments when we are away from home.
How can we build an underground irrigation system in our garden, without having recourse to any technician.

Step 1: design
Bring paper, pen and meter, measure your garden and draw it in plan.
Divide the garden into zones.
Consider that each zone can support up to 5 pop up (sprinklers ), there are calculations that take into account the pressure drop due to friction in the pipes that carry water, so the larger the diameter of the tube , the lower the pressure drop as a result the flow rate is increased as the pressure.
Using a compass locate on the map the projections of the pop-up irrigation drawing also the center that will be precisely the location of the sprinkler.

Step 2: Install solenoid valves
The battery of valves is the set of hydraulic solenoid valves opening and closing circuits.
General rule: the diameter of the tube used to connect the battery to the service line valves, should not be smaller than the diameter of the valves.
